Flake-shaped(DD6) Activated Alumina For Hydrogen Peroxide
Product Introduction
The adsorbent for hydrogen peroxide is a product made of activated alumina after special treatment. In addition to adsorbing alkali in the working fluid, activated alumina has a strong regeneration capacity for hydrogenated degradation products. It also has a great effect on reducing the consumption of anthraquinone and stabilizing the components of the working fluid. It is an ideal Special adsorbent for hydrogen peroxide.
Shandong Avant, by learning and referring to BASF's special production process, produces flake-shaped(DD6) activated alumina for hydrogen peroxide with 3~5 times stronger reaction and adsorption capacity than normal ball-shaped activated alumina particles.
The flake-shaped(DD6) activated alumina not only has a more obvious improvement and advantage in physical and chemical indicators, but also is closer to the contact with the solution in the production of hydrogen peroxide. It can better accelerate and improve the efficiency and effect of production.
Advantages
1. Large surface area, which increases the contact area with hydrogen peroxide, and has a better regeneration effect on anthraquinone. Because the surface of DD6 activated alumina has many pore-like structures, basically reaching 350 m2/g, and the developed pore structure makes it have excellent adsorption.
2. Excellent and stable performance. Based on the excellent properties of activated alumina itself, its properties are greatly increased through the control and preparation of special processes.
3. Long service life & Multiple regenerations. The service life of normal flake-shaped(DD6) activated alumina is 1~2 years, and after each production cycle, it can be recycled for multiple times by means of regeneration inside or outside the device.
Application
1. In the production of hydrogen peroxide, since it can regenerate and decompose anthraquinone derivatives and convert them into effective anthraquinone, the production cost can be reduced and the operation can be optimized.
2. Adsorb residual lye and reduce the alkalinity of hydrogen peroxide to an appropriate range (<0.005g/L).
3. A small amount of water remains in the production process, which will be absorbed by flake-shaped(DD6) activated alumina.
4. Filter impurities.
